Hi, everyone. I'm back. And, well, I guess I should dust off this sadly neglected blog and give you all a proper update. So, here you go. I shall henceforth tell you all about my ~~terribly humdrum~~ summer.

Hmmm. March and a small part of April... I don't really want to relive those months. Suffice it to say that it was pretty agonizing. Every single day spent in Medical City, and of course, the hovering dread that Mom would die... Well, at least we made it out all together, albeit with a hatred of Koreans in general and acupuncture in particular. No offense to Koreans. I know there are nice ones out there, but...

The rest of April was spent in getting into fights with the family, playing tennis, and reading and writing a lot. Oh, and voice and violin lessons. I'm not with Teacher Ariel anymore-- I've joined this youth orchestra or something, and it's great fun. A really amazing opportunity to meet new people.

I need to stop using the computer so much, though. I can't sleep any earlier than 1 AM anymore, because I formed this habit of using my computer at that time. Roar.

When mom and my brothers left for Malaysia, me and Rafa went to the beach ~~and got very, very dark~~. Tita Tin brought us, and I met Renzo's cousins-- they were-- for lack of a better term-- nice. Tricia and Danny and Anton... It was great being around girls my age again, after younger brothers the whole summer. And Anton was like a big brother.

When we got back, Mom (!) signed us up for a tennis tournament. A tennis tournament. I mean, we're only beginners. What would we know about tournaments?

I beat my first opponent, which was of course a huge boost to my ego, but I got my ass whupped by my next opponent, so my ego's back to its normal position.

Also, I (re)gained two obsessions over the summer. Namely, LoTR and Rent. <3

I watched Spiderman 3 with Povedan friends, too. ~~Psst, when's PoTC 3? Are we watching together? :D~~

I found out a week ago that my lola's taking me to Korea on the 28th. I, the Korean-hater, going to their Motherland? I know!

Lastly, I think this might be my last post. I'd say I cringed when reading through the crap I posted over the course of last year, but I didn't even have the courage to do that (read through my last posts, I mean). Besides, I don't want to be so arrogant to actually believe people want to read my posts (and no, I'm not fishing, because I really view my posts as utter crap).

So, good-bye, loves. It's been a real pleasure, but I think I'd rather stick to handwritten journals now. :)
